Syftet med uppsatsen har varit att belysa livet, tron och författarskapet av Petrus Raattamaa (1885-197?). Petrus Raattamaa har hittills varit okänd i den litterära världen. Till analysen har jag använt den biografiska metoden. Undersökningsmaterialet består av hans fyra böcker, av vilka en är skriven på finska, de övriga på svenska.

Det här är ett examensarbete som utgår ifrån Anna Petrus (1886-1949). Syftet är att ta fram en artefakt som utgår ifrån Anna Petrus konstnärskap och mest kända motiv "lejonet." Mitt mål är att ta fram en artefakt som jag, hon och hennes gamla arbetsgivare Svenskt Tenn står bakom. Artefakten ska tydligt kunna härledas till Anna Petrus konstnärskap och samtidigt vara nutida och inom ramarna för produktdesign.Examensarbetet har vuxit fram som ett resultat av min uppsats. Min uppsats har vuxit fram som ett resultat av min önskan om en djupare förståelse för Anna Petrus och hennes konstnärskap. Och min önskan om en djupare förståelse för Anna Petrus har vuxit fram som en metod för mig att kunna ta fram en artefakt som jag upplever att Anna Petrus står bakom.Introspektion, informella intervjuer/besök, skisser och litteraturstudier har legat till grund för arbetet som har en postmodern grund och där mitt förhållningssätt är introspektionistiskt-hermeneutiskt.I projektet har Anna Petrus och jag själv flätats samman, PETRUS har konstruerats.

Främst analyseras genusrelationerna och då i huvudsak i anslutning till huvudkarktären David Lurie. Det har också lagts stor vikt vid hur svarta och vita förhåller sig till varandra.Studien har visat att maktrelationerna mellan romanens karaktärer både sam- och motverkar, samt är föränderliga.

Som motiv har åldrandet inte fått alltför mycket plats i litteraturvetenskapliga studier. Denna uppsats granskar på vilket sätt åldrandet skildras i Bo Carpelans postuma roman Blad ur höstens arkiv (2011)..

By collecting and examining the chants used at Catherine's translation it is possible to see what kinds of music was used at this occasion and also to determine some thing about how and why these chants were chosenBy using manuscripts containing the chants which are close to the occasion in time and place, the melodies and texts are presented in the versions most likely to have been those used in the translation.

Redan tidigt uppstod etiska och trosma?ssiga dilemman bland de kristna kring hur Jesu budskap, likt t. ex. Bergspredikan, ordagrant skulle tolkas och efterlevas. A?ven i andra texter och utsagor har dessa fra?gesta?llningar periodvis aktualiserats, och under olika skeenden problematiseras under historiens ga?ng.

This Master?s thesis explores three contemporary Swedish poets? ? Lars Mikael Raattamaa, Anna Hallberg and Johan Jönson ? understanding of their work as a political activity. By using Jonathan Culler?s theory on literary competence and literary conventions as a theoretical tool for an idea analysis, the three poets' arguments for or against certain literary techniques, and their ideas about readers and reading, are explored and discussed. In what ways are established literary methods questioned by the three poets? In what ways are established theories on readers and reading questioned? In what way can their poetic work be regarded as political? As a background, the debate about poetry in Swedish newspapers and literary magazines is presented, as well as the common focus on readers and reading in social sciences and in humanities and arts.

The goal with this project was to develop a graphic template for a new magazine about running, STARK Löpning. Besides the looks of the graphic elements, sections in the magazine would be developed. Finally, a discussion is made about how the magazine can be remade into an electronic format.Content analyses has been made regarding magazines with both a main and a specific orientation, to review the graphic relationship between them. A content  analysis regarding a competing magazine about running was also made.An unstructured interview was done with Art Director Petrus Iggström, to find out his way of working when he creates new graphic templates for magazines.The discussion concerning the electronic format was done based on previous research in the subject.The graphic relationship between main and specific magazines turned out to not be significant, they had few similarities. It was often showed that elements regarding the magazine s?identity had been changed, for example text fonts.

Based on the on the assumption that the two recent Swedish poetry collections mil by Anna Hallberg and mallamerik, mallamer, malameri, mallame, amerik, mallameka, merikka, by Lars Mikael Raattamaa, are constructed with theoretical questions about identity, national identity, language hierarchy and power in mind, this study aims to investigate the ways in which these issues come to expression. Simplified, the term language-poetry, or språkmaterialism, can be used to describe a language-philosophical poetry that aims to eliminate the hierarcic structures between writer and reader in a text and invite the reader to become the co-worker of it. The study shows that by different ways of eliminating the centre of the text, the text is made democratical. But one question that this study asks is how can a nation's conventional and standardised written  language ? the language of the centre ? be used to write itself out of this centre into the margin? Stepping from a theoretical background of postcolonial theories on identity and national identity, including reflections as those given by Benedict Anderson, Madan Sarup, Timothy Brennan, Stefan Helgesson and Mia Cuoto, the analysis points out how this poetry laborates with the terms bugging, repetition, national language identity, and space as poetic material, in order to work in line with ? and contrary to - conceptions of a unified and shared language.

Lars Levi Læstadius (1800-1861) var en stor och viktig människa. Han är ihågkommen och mycket omskriven. Læstadius var en aktiv nykterhetskämpe, botaniker och älskad präst. Utöver detta var han även den som grundade den märkliga väckelsen omkring år 1845 som än idag bär hans namn: læstadianismen. Læstadianerna, som de troende kom att kallas, lyssnade till denne stränga man och lärde sig att leva som han predikade, ett enkelt och nyktert liv.

Charles Hartshorne (1897-2000) was a religious philosopher. He adopted and developed the cosmologic thinking and concept of God from the philosopher Alfred North Whitehead, he was also influenced by Heidegger, Spinoza and other philosophers. According to Whiteheads religious philosophy Hartshorne claimed that there is a dualistic transcendence within the Godhead. A dualistic transcendence where one unity/transcendence of God is abstract, outside the creation and time and therefore is eternal. The other unity (or transcendence) is inside time and creation and closely in process to it .

Sara Lidman?s first novel, Tjärdalen (The Tar Pit, 1953), addresses ethical issues in a remote village in the north of Sweden. This essay discusses the novel?s narrative technique and the ethical aspects implied by the narration and aesthetic design. The approach is based on Adam Zachary Newton?s narrative ethics, which links narrative theory and method with an ethical perspective.
